Standing tall

Life is full of ups and downs:

so we have to take all the tumbles and the falls

just as we rejoice in the flights of glory and merry-making;

Life is what we make of it:

so we have to let our heart grieve at things that are lost

just as we let our heart swell with gratitude at the joy of unexpected gifts

Life can well be as we like it -

for the mind can be where the heart is

and life is, in our minds, how we 'see' it:

of a jigsaw puzzle -

that's what life is!
