Today is a day when i feel so, so sad -
i just wish i could cry my heart out...
today when i should be happy,i just cried -
in the midst of such beauty,
on such a lovely day -
something inside me just died...
for it seems like everyone has a word that hurts -
and all had chosen today to heap them all on me...
and it really hurts, deep, deep down -
so something inside me just died...
and all the beauty on such a lovely day -
becomes a smudge and a smear...
and whatever that's beautiful and joyful -
just vapourised before my teary eyes...
